Delete your Cribfolio account
Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app (fastest)
- Open Cribfolio and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
The deletion runs immediately. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
Email privacy@cribfolio.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We action these within 30 days and will confirm by reply.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the app store you bought from, so cancel there first:
- Android / Google Play — Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cribfolio → Cancel subscription.
- iPhone / App Store — Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Cribfolio → Cancel Subscription.
You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What is deleted
Everything you created in Cribfolio, permanently:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Every property, room, area and item
- Every photo, paint entry, appliance record, manual, warranty, receipt and contractor document
- Expenses, time entries, projects and utility records
- Rent estimates, valuations, grades and location scores held for your properties
- Your AI question history, scan history and saved analyses
- Your plan record and any Monthly X-Ray briefs generated for you
What is kept, and for how long
- A deletion audit record — an internal record that an account was deleted, and when. It contains no personal data beyond an anonymous account identifier, and exists so we can prove a deletion request was honoured. Retained indefinitely as a compliance record.
- Purchase and billing records — held by Google Play or Apple, not by us. We cannot delete those; contact the store directly.
- Backups — encrypted database backups roll off on a 30-day cycle. Deleted data can persist in a backup until the last snapshot containing it expires, and is never restored into the live app.
- Records we are legally required to retain — for example, tax or fraud records, kept only as long as the law requires.
Deleting only some of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete any individual property, room, item, photo or document at any time, and the deletion is permanent. For anything you cannot reach yourself, email privacy@cribfolio.com.
